Love it when people try to scam me

I hired a "programmer" to do a small mainstream project for me. Wanted 1/2 the payment up front, then said he needs 100% or he can't do it, so I paid him with paypal. said it would be done in a week, over a week later i kept getting excuses, then I said refund my money.

two weeks later no money and everyday its the same lies, "im getting paid today" or "i just deposited money into my account, needs time to clear..." whatever chump, keep playing games.

so now were going on week number 4 and i said you have until the EOD on Tuesday to refund the money or ill contact my credit card company. he goes "no problem I'll be sending you the money few minutes..." that was at 10am on Tuesday. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and told him early yesterday his time is up and he said "I will send it over now, give me a few minutes" then signs offline.

so i contact Amex last night and now hes trying to call me out saying I'm scamming him???

fuck you douche bag, if you cant finish a job that I paid for you upfront then refund the money.

    thx amex

Uhh... you realise that doing a chargeback at bank level rather than asking Paypal to reverse the funds means you're at risk of having your account locked?

          Try to scam you?

He's had your money for a month and you are still talking like you may get it back.

Sounds much more like he did scam you.
