i don't think that the way that some sites take free content off of girls is in good faith or well-meaning or good for the girls but at the end of the day the girls need to make good decisions. no one FORCES them to hand these sets over for free. they are willing participants.

The only way to do it now would be to go for numbers first. Start a credible online music/geek mag with several good writers, get lots of interviews with underground bands and such, and basically build up the site to become a mainstay of a bunch of subcultures. Add freely accessible artsy nude picture sets as well as band picture sets, and do everything you can to build up a reader base.

If you get lucky, you might be able to switch to a membership model a few years from now. But before that - no dice.

Oh, and you'll probably have to target a slightly different subculture.

The adult content might be the reason many people join, but it is only one of the reasons that non-porn girls want to pose on there, that bands will wear their t-shirts, that members stay for a long time, etc.

Getting inked girls to even do gonzo/amateur stuff is a pain in the ass as is. SG made it a huge bitch getting girls like that to do porn because (at least for me) they all see it as dirty and disgusting to do hardcore or even solo masturbation when SG doesn't do all that, it's more goth-glam.


The end result of SG is beautiful and it would take one HELL of an effort to recreate.
