Hurricane Bill is coming!!

I've been down the shore for the past couple weeks.

Happened to watch the weather channel a few days back and saw the storm brewing. I hang with my old surfing buddies and decided to buy a new surfboard.

Please bear with me... i haven't "really" surfed in 10 years. I'm heading to NJ coast on friday and staying till tuesday. The waves are going to be off the charts.

I surfed a hurricane one time back in '92 or '93 when it came 100 miles from the shore and it was ....

tubes, huge, the shit...

I hope my fat, out of shape ass can still do it. I'll post videos of this if i'm still alilve

I'm hearing 20 foot waves here in NC. That should be fun to look at. I just hope it stays clean of land anywhere. I have to much fucking work to do.

Wait till Winter... fly to Hawaii, hit up any north shore Then whimper turn around and head to a south shore, hahahah 30 foot swells will blow your mind!

I lived in Hawaii for 4 years and surfed the whole time I was there... then came back to the East Coast and traded in my surfboard for a snowboard... I've been ruined forever! Unless the waves are big enough to get a solid bottom turn in, I'm not interested ;)

This Hurricane has the right track to produce surf covering the entire east coast without
making landfall unless it hits New England somewhere.

NC will be fine and the surf will be maxed out. OXB and the Cape will be going off.

I wanted to hit a small island in the Bahamas that will catch the swell just right for some hawaiian style waves but couldn't get the logistics worked out. I will be on the central Florida coast this weekend instead and hopefully will get some killer pics.

There will be a lot of moving water out there. Big waves and rip currents so anybody going in or near the water should be cautious.
