That can happen always for you maybe but not for me or many others I know. Site that converts good for me at first usually keeps converting for a few years.. they don't go 1:150 to 1:8000 over a few days :glugglug then again that bizzare is nothing unusual for me too when it comes to PPS yet like I said conversion ratio really proves nothing!

I'd assume they are hard to convert these days cos of oversaturation but I have absolutely no beef about them. It's been over 2 years since I actively promoted oxcash yet I'm still getting rebills from their previous processor Ibill every month :)

After a year of promoting ars with decent to good ratios i had to drop them last month. My ratios went from 1:500 or so to 1:3500 and shit like that. I never seen that happen in a year time.

So i told them their stats suck and dropped the links. Guess what, next day i make a sale with like 15 hits coming from some links i forgot to take down. Next thing, an ARS employee mailed me saying my stats look better now and i shouldnt leave....next day i get another fucking sale with 30 hits or so....Now is that weird or what?

Its always the same shit with per signup sponsors...their stats go from 1:200 to 1:4000 and back to 1:400. I never have these problems with normal ccbill sponsors without affiliate tracking.

I know almost every big company shaves but as long as they pay me its all good. But hey at least make the stats look normal.

pentae 12-07-2002 11:06 PM

This thread is hillarious. I've never laughed so hard on this board. Way to go FLY ;) I love those monkey pics.

Anyway, I've been sending to ARS for about 12 months.. Not sticking up for them, because they are the McDonalds of sponsor programs.. but.. after sending lots of traffic and comparing my ratios and patterns between sponsors, I consider them to be one of the very few sponsors who DONT shave.

Amazing huh?

Wired Guy - things have DEFINITELY changed over the past 18 months and I sincerely apologize you had such a bad experience. One of those people you spoke of is no longer with the company. Also realize that I talk to hundreds of webmasters through out the week and regardless of doing buisness with you or not, please take my ICQ number. 46972932

You then gave me a URL that worked over the phone, so I told you to reapply and email me when you did so that I could be sure that you were approved quickly. How can I ensure that your site complies with our TOS if I cant even view it? If you want to send traffic to ARS, great. If not, then good luck in the future. If you have any questions or want to discuss this further, you have all my contact info.
That was a very professional reply. Reason enough to think twice about your actions when a company responds like that to bad publicity through board flaming.

What a bunch of whiney pants, and I know that Hummer was pretty much courtesy of ARS (not the girl to my knowledge, sorry Jimmy lol) and he is only 21 or MAYBE 22. So you losers should get a grip. Getting an application deleted is far from being shaved. If somone can't fill out an application correctly, what are the chances of the success of the traffic they send? Ask Hummer guy how many times he fucks up applications, NEVER i would imagine! rofl

I'm sure it's hard to keep all staff knowledgeable about the runnings of a company when it's so hard to keep a good staff these days.

d00t 12-08-2002 10:31 AM

I wouldnt bother with ARS - seriously.
They only shave if you get over 9 signups -

If your not from USA, you have only a 50% chance of ever seeing any money from them.

Register to have the funds by paypal and those chances are reduced by another 25%

theres hundreds of sponsors around... you dont need to put up with their bullshit.

Marc De 12-08-2002 12:03 PM

Yeah... the weekly Paypal payouts option was really the only reason I wanted to sign up...

D00t if you're saying that they don't pay Paypal %25 of the time -- at least back that shit up... Did you have 4 ARS accounts, and you got paid only 3 out of 4 times, or did you have 1 account with 3 good Paypal payments and 1 failed one? You have to be more specific with your %25 thing... Maybe out of the only 4 webmasters that you know that use ARS, one of them had a problem with Paypal? Or did you know 8 webmasters, and 2 of them had a problem...?

8/2 still = 25% non-Paypal payout...

Pipecrew 12-08-2002 12:34 PM

Phanton, People with intelligence and a sense of humor realize its a joke, but every now and then we get some hater that thinks he's a big detective exposing the truth and today you have won that award, Congratulations, You have exposed me! hahaha, who will it be tommorow?

Ah yes, since all the good ones left long ago, I'm not sure what your beef was with me but if you emailed me and didn't get a response then you're full of it as I responded to 100's of emails a day, and trust me a threat from TrafficCash would have meant nothing to me compared to an email sent from a regular webmaster.

Only takes months and the best employees of the past are long forgotten and thrown under the bus to preserve the sanctity of the program.

MarcDe> Thank you for your apology. It would have been better if this webmaster we have the dispute with would have ceased using our copyrights or otherwise terminated from your program for copyright theft, like Traffic Cash Gold did. Regardless, he is still an active webmaster in your program and I will not do business with ARS because your staff turned a blind eye on his theft. I do appreciate your apology but it really would have been better if your staff actually responded to my complaints or otherwise taken the measures needed to stop this webmaster from making thousands of dollars on our intellectual property.

I have added you to my ICQ, but until my complaints are resolved (from almost 18 months ago) and this webmaster is terminated don't expect me to promote ARS anytime soon.

I did email you on a CC. To be exact, the last email I sent to you was on Tuesday, March 5th, 2002 at 12:14:02 EST from an email I sent to Justin Viegelahn at Webmaster Support at the time with my complaint(s). I have every email archived since our company was formed so I can pull up every single correspondance I've ever had with ARS should you want them. I have no replies from anyone who is or was formerly employeed at ARS because none were received. Regardless, my beef is not with you Toolz, it's with the fact that ARS and its staff turned a blind eye and allowed a webmaster to make thousands of dollars on our intellectual property. When my emails went unresolved, I had to get outside help since nobody at ARS was willing to resolve the issue.

Toolz 12-08-2002 05:26 PM

So it was Justin who never replied to you? Just wondering as I thought I took care of everything to the best of my abilities. Justin on the other hand... ah another story but I might as well trash him to make my program look good, ah wait I don't have a program to promote :)

Justin was the intended recipient since he was the primary contact I had at ARS. You were CC'd because I wanted my problem resolved and I was told that you were probably the best person to handle the complaint. While I wasn't expecting a reply from you, I was expecting a reply from Justin. I simply CC'd you in case the issue was above Justin's head so that you would look into it. That was 9 months ago. Since then I have given up trying to get ARS to resolve my problem so I have taken other legal means to enforce our copyrights at my expense.

Sounds like bullshit to me. You know damn well that most webmasters send traffic from many domains, and your verification for compliance to TOS is a load of shit. What am I supposed to have a sign up a new application form for each domain that I own?
