I agree with your take on this jay. However I believe it all started with the TGPs and not the actual tube sites.

The way the law is setup doesnt really give the content producers much rights.

redtube can steal all the content they want and make millions off it until someone sends them a notice to take the content down, which Is not fair at all to the producers who paid to have the content shot.

Sure gideon will claim its "fair use"

But is it really fair for the producer?

I do wish the laws favoured the producers, because without them no content would be made.

The laws are taylor made for pirates it seems.

LOL, someone gets it, finally! At the time I wrote it, tubes didn't exist...it was meant to be tongue in cheek - not serious. The strange thing about it, as ridiculous and overblown as it is, there is some truth.

As far as the laws or progress go. I am not "anti-progress" - if you own some content and you want to throw it on a tube - GO FOR IT! I think, at some point, porn could be ad free and supported, but we are a long way from that.

However, jacking people's content so you can advance you financial agenda is wrong. The law is not even written to side with the tube sites. They are getting by on a loophole now.

I don't think anyone can argue they are sucking the money out of this biz. It is a giant money-tampon blocking the flow of cash in adult right now.

The way things are headed the only people left standing will be Brazzers.

Revisit this article in 6 months and tell me I am not right.

if i waved a magic wand over your content and changed it so that every time it was "stolen" and posted on the tube site their ratios for the dating ads and chat ads would go into the toliet how much would that be worth to you.
and the only way they could fix the problem of those crappy ratio was to put your ads around the video


what if those changes were so minor/positive that your members would either not care, or actually thank you for it.

the put your shit on the cassettes and sell it to them solution exists.

stop your crying and find it.

Or take the time to hire the people who have already found them.

who care who uploaded the content if you changed your content so that it created the effect that tanked their ratios

if you were right and it was in fact loaded by brazzers they would stop because loading yoru content would cost them bandwidth without generating the necessary signup to cover those cost.

BTW you are moron if you think the fact that brazzers content being missing from their tubes is proof they are uploading content. IT could still be user uploaded, the fact that the guy sending the DCMA take down being in the same building and having access to the upload as it is being process allows them to send themselves instantious take down notices.

only a complete moron would claim differently.
