In all honesty? Ask here and then just keep a thick skin for the people that will give me a hard time.

Say you are looking for a job, what your skills are and how to be contacted. I got my first job in the industry just that same way. The other approach, is to send out emails to companies and ask if they have openings. Pretty much like in any other industry.

The banning comment is because posting links to other message boards isn't allowed on gfy.

Thanks Sarah, I was looking for someone to hire though, but I will try your approach anyway.

Hans - I've accepted your linkedIN request. LinkedIN is cool for mainstream candidate search, but it is not always easy to spot one from your end of the industry through LinkedIN searches.

We are around 200 on the team, some make a lot (LOT) others make less.
I don't have anyone representing us in this end of the business, when really, this is where a lot of the action for our products is (CDN / Cloud Hosting @ vps.net / 10tb.com (high bandwidth) / etc.).

A target salary for this should be $75-100k/year. Ideally more - but could be less. So while it is not a life changing amount, it is not petty cash either.
