I think this will be a very tight season.
I'm going for Man Utd to win it (again) Hull, Burnley and Portsmouth to be relegated.

Man United for the championship and I think two of the 3 teams promoted will go down. I'd say Wolves and Birmingham will go down with Stoke City.
I also expect Manchester City to be in the top 4 at the expense of Arsenal. |

People forget, Man Utd had just finished third, Ronaldo was only a show pony in peoples mind and they had sold Van Nisltelrooy without buying a replacement. Many were calling for Fergie's head, saying he was pasts it and should have retired after the trebble. They wanted that Bayern guy to replace him. Man Utd were fourth favorites with the bookies at 10/1. I made a nice chunk of change that year. Going against the tabloids is the surest way I know to make money. I should also thank them for hyping up Murray, made a bucket load betting against him in Australia and Wimbledon. Anyway, Arsenal this year will surprise many, they lost a striker but Arshavin will explode onto the stage like Ronaldo did. I also think they have what lacked for the past few years: anger. 10/1 with the bookies just like Manchester was. I smell opportunity ![]() |

Arsenal = no chance. They need another striker or two up front. Van Persie breaks his hymen every other game.
Liverpool - really needed to buy another striker and haven't. Babel is not good enough, nor is Lucas in Midfield. Could push for 2nd. Chelsea - experienced, definitely a top 3. Man United - there or thereabouts. Man City - no way can that team gel in one season, 5th placed tops. BET365 have the following odds (£100 bet bonus Man Utd 2/1 Chelsea 2/1 Liverpool 3/1 Arsenal 17/2 Man City 10/1 Tottenham 100/1 Aston Villa 200/1 Everton 200/1 West Ham 1000/1 Blackburn 1000/1 Sunderland 1000/1 Fulham 1000/1 Portsmouth 2000/1 Bolton 2000/1 Wigan 2500/1 Stoke 3000/1 Wolverhampton 5000/1 Hull 5000/1 Birmingham 5000/1 Burnley 7500/1 |

My only hopes for this season are:
1. Man City displace Arsenal for 4th spot (and Wenger gets fired / resigns at some point before the end of the season) 2. Liverpool win the title. 3. West Ham sign Luca Toni |

You don't like teams that play proper football? Liverpool had a couple good game last year (best one against Arsenal incidentally). The rest of the time half their goals were like this: Reina hits it as hard as he can, ball bounces a couple of times, Gerrard or Torres score. I'd rather see anyone win than long ball merchants Liverpool ![]() |

I still think Man City will be shitty this season. Probably finish about 8th or 9th at best.
Think it's between Chelsea & Man U for the league. Celtic to win the Scottish league!! ![]() |

I ditched William Hill because they are thieving stunning cunts - had hundreds of active members with them, they changed the system supposedly transferring everyone over, and amazingly I was left with half a dozen. Now I can't even login. Assholes. Back on Topic, I think Man United will pick up another striker, and win it again this year. |
