After you started in adult, since when did it start paying your bills?

I'd have to say day 1 because I was into mainstream and got into adult because of a good job offer (didn't know it was adult until I signed NDAs, lol)

We were already doing porn before we got onto the the Net, just thought it would be an extra source of income for our content. The stores became our biggest source of income about 1 year to 18 months after open the first content store. The other sources had not declined.

took me about six months to go from zero to 10k a month but like others said, this was in 99. Though I was only 20 and didn't take it very seriously. I Should be retired by now.

From the time when I went into adult full time?

Nine months.

That includes paying for the models, photo shoots, all associated costs, plus my monthly recurring personal bills. Housing, food, electric, truck, etc. 100%.

I started making enough to pay my bills once the first check arrived, so with in a couple weeks after I started. I countinued to work a job, so i could save my porn money to invest into my own site, which took a couple months, kicked off the new site and quit the job, that was Oct 1999. Never worked for anyone else since then other than doing consulting like work.

Started learning html in late '97 after a career ending back injury. Started earning money by early '98 while on worker's comp and later working another job at the same place as before. By late '99 I had dropped the job thing completely and became a fulltimer working from home.... and have never looked back. Don't miss having a jay oh bee and working for someone else either.
