I found some photos from right before we moved in. Black carpet seemed so trendy. 20/20 hindsight says it's a big fucking pain in the ass...it shows EVERYTHING! But it looks great if you don't mind vacuuming every 3 hours.

I live in an area where you pay dearly for the location. I have everything one needs within a mile of my home.

I get garage envy. The lots here are really small because it's such a densely populated area that the only way you're getting anything in is to buy, demolish and subdivide...unless you build yourself and don't go the subdivide route.

Either way, all of the lots here are deep, but not wide at all...even if you buy an existing lot. It gets worse the closer you get to the water.

Most houses around here are unassuming because they have to build them narrow and deep. There is one going up on a double lot down the street that is really nice but it's surrounded by old houses that are not well-maintained.

Just moved in two months ago so we've still got a ton to do.
Once I get some improvements done, I'll post the new ones.

I am pretty damn proud of myself for getting mine before 30. Hell, a lot of my friends are still doing the 3 roommates to a 3 bedroom apartment gig.

I still question my sanity when I write the check each month, but my home is where my heart is so its worth it.

my office has been in so many spots since being on gfy... from the stripclub, to my friends bar.. my bedroom, backyard.. basically where ever I go.

although when I moved into this house the basement was going to be my office.. because you know all webmaster live in the basement ;)

now that its finished and looks good, a friend moved in for a few months.. but cant really complain cause they pay all the mortage.. so my house is free.

Thanks, I have put allot of work into this yard. It used to be all river rock and gravel. It took years of patience, allot of digging/planting and tons of sweat, but in the end, it was all worth it. I still have more flagstone to lay this coming winter to finish off the BBQ/Smoker area.

Thanks, I sure do like the rock formation you have and that spa looks killer. You should start planting stuff yourself, you would be surprised how easy it is to get the yard up to where you like it. Maybe go to a nursery and have them deliver the plants/ trees and plant them yourself or pay them to plant it for you.
