She was shit canned. They're just trying to save face and allowing her to make a "graceful" exit and say she was leaving on her own terms. It's no secret, this has been in the works ever since they brought on a 4th judge. I could see this coming a mile away and I don't even watch the show.

Her contract was for like 10 mil over 3 years. Seacrests is like 45 mil over same period, and forget about Cowel.. he made 35 mil last season alone!

Abdul is constantly working anyway, she's got so many irons in the fire she needs helpers just to tell her where to go next. Insane.

there's nothing in the article (or any of the articles i've read about the matter) that even remotely suggest she was shitcanned, let go, or released. fact is, the negotiations were private.

did they want to keep her there? i'd say so.

did they want to give her a raise similar to the others? no.

why? who knows. personally, i liked seeing her on the show and i thought her and kara had good chemistry on screen.

and speaking of kara, she doesn't have a deal done with ai either, that doesn't mean she's been shitcanned, let go, or released.
