Its not hacked. Docsis 3 is slowly coming out in certain areas. Call your comcast rep and see if its deployed in your area yet. I just had to go pick up a new modem from them, call and get it provisioned. An extra 57.00 a month above whatever you pay now.Comment

And this ISN'T burst speed. Its solid 50 down with 10% or more added beyond the 50 cap. So looks like about 15% off advertised speed for dl, and not quite making the upload of 10 that I am supposed to be getting. 39 isn't a high ping lol, but 7 is an extreeemley low ping. I know this from years of doing game server hosting, and playing multiplayer 1st person shooters. Its very unlikely to see a ping below 10. normal pings for me are 29 to 45 and thats norm for most people.Comment
