We have a 7-hour layover from 11pm - 6am at JFK tomorrow night on our way up to MOntreal, so wondering at that hour, what's something fun and cool to do or see, or any cool pubs/bars? Preferably not too far from the airport.
What's cool to do Friday night in NYC near JFK?

Thanks, but my gf probably isn't wanting to hit a strip club heh...
That actually seems pretty cool since they do short-stays, have themed rooms and its right by the airport (10 mins according to a map) - Thanks
Do they stay open later than 2? I figure time we get out of the airport and get there it'll be about 1am already...
I book my own flights, but from Costa Rica, not a whole ton of options...especially round this time of year.Skype variuscr - Email varius AT gmailComment

They stay open until 4. If you do go, there should be a really sexy bartender named Dana. Tell her Jeff from L.A. sent you
The Google tells me it's 25 miles away. I guess we don't share a common belief on the term "nowhere near".
I've been peachy keen. Found myself a girl that doesn't mind having me around

There isn't shit to do around JFK unless you consider purchasing crack an adventure. Either wait it out at JFK or jump on the LIRR and roll into the city and you will be able to freeze your arse off until around 4AM when everything shuts down.
Good luck!FACEBOOK | TWITTER | EMAIL | KYLEESANDS.COM | ICQ 599104298Comment

yeah, if you have some scratch you could get a cab over to manhattan and drink somewhere on the east side for an hour and a half - traffic won't be terrible at 1 am probably 45 minutes to the city - then you can eat at a diner and get a cab back with time to spare...
Not sure but there might be a flat cab rate too, maybe $50 plus tolls each way.
No cash? Stay put.
Never spent any time around JFK, might be better alternatives nearby but mostly some tough-ish areas around there.Last edited by burntfilm; 12-17-2009, 11:08 PM.Sorta...Comment
