Got My Brand New Kia for Half Price!

I went to a junk yard and bought a clunker that barely ran for 100.00 bucks.
Pulled into the Kia Dealership and sold it to them for $4,500.00!!

Damn what a great program. Cash for Clunkers.
Dont have a clunker and want to get 4500.00 off on a new car???

Great. I love how you SCAMMED the tax payers, the government, and the dealership.
When the government goes over the paperwork and notices that you haven't owned the car for 1 year (if they ever do) they will decline the $4500 rebate to the dealership.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- The House on Friday passed a bill to allocate another $2 billion to the Cash for Clunkers program.

The move came after reports on Thursday had raised concerns that the program was out of money.

The bill which diverts $2 billion from a U.S. Department of Energy program loan guarantee program, passed 316-109. The bill will face tough opposition in the Senate, which is expected to take up the issue next week.

"I'm pleased about the progress made in the House today about the cash for clunkers program," said President Obama, in a speech immediately following the vote.

Brand Friggin new. I got it with 4k Manf Rebates, 4500.00 in Cluker rebates, Dealer discounts and cash discount.
All in all I got this for about 15k off msrp. Dealership despirate for the sale.

I know ill be able to sell this for a huge profit by next month.

Rather than crying about the system learn to work it. He really has created great oppertunities.

I've got trouble believing this. The requirement is you have to show insurance on the trade in vehicle for up to one year prior. Granted Barak Obama and the Democrats are idiots but even I can't believe they're that stupid and I've got trouble too imagining dealers would risk losing the rebates or risk facing criminal charges of fraud when there's more than enough legitimate demand for the vouchers.

And I wouldn't risk attempting something like this either because once the Feds start running computer checks on the rebates against insurance databases and you weren't actually eligible; they will come after their money and minimally take tax refunds back instantly and if you don't get a tax refund at the end of the year, just wait 'til you see those interest rates.

People didnt believe me then. When they finally believed me it was too late and the banks caught on and put on much tighter restrictions.

One thing is for sure. If the gov is passing out money, it takes them a good while to secure it from scammers and people like me.

the requirement of having a title is because you are actually signing your title over not to the dealer but the United States of America, so they can destroy the vehicle.

Ive told you yes this is a rule.... But they do not Enforce it!

Its kinda like when you go to the DMV to renew your tags, (if your state has a DMV) and they tell you to write down your insurance info to prove you are insured. You make that shit up! They NEVER EVER CHECK IT!!

In this case all you need is one of these.

Tell them you are insured. Show them a card. Show them your current card for your current car.

If they do call to verify (which i assure you they dont) they verify the coverage. Which you are covered...
Just not for that car.

But trust me, this isnt the FBI. Its a hungry car salesman that want a sale. They want the fucking sale! BAD...

I used a homemade insurance card for many years. Only had one cop question its authenticity. But it was Christmas day and he said he could not really prove it, but if he stopped me again on another day he would.

If I'd want to buy the car out, by now I would OWE the credit company MORE than what a car like mine (brand new, with a better package) costs.

I think they made this program to help the car producers sell more cars, not to help you get a new ride. They don't give a shit if you drive a new or old car, they probably tax old cars more than new

The sick part of that "for Clunkers program" is, that a lot of the people buy imported cars, so every time you get $4500 in rebates to buy a imported car, you send $4500 out of the country.

Every time you send money out of the contry, you put your own nation in to debt.
When you send $4500 out of the country, you need to make $4500 + interest back.
