Anyway to turn on a computer at a certain time?
I keep my computer on sleep mode when I call it a night, but in the morning it takes between 15-30 minutes sometimes for email to get caught up, stats to reload, etc. So Im basically waking the computer up, going to get coffee, sit around, etc. until its loaded up.

				 | Check your BIOS under power settings, there may be an option to wake on RTC (Real Time Clock), which will let you specify a trigger time. I'm about to use this feature for a backup server which will usually only add a few megs of data to the set each day, so it makes no sense to have it powered on 24/7. |

it takes a while because it syncs with a backup server i have at my house, so it downloads emails, files, etc. thats why it takes so long

				 | hmm, sounds like you have an ancient computer... I turn mine on, go take a whiz and by the time I get back it's ready to work on But your best bet might be to put your computer to "sleep", then when you fire it up again, it starts exactly where you left it...
