      Dating by a long shot. I've never been able to do big numbers with cams ever, on a wide variety of sites.

      I don't know how people make serious coin from cams. There must be a trick to it (please tell).

              The $ per sign up on cams is very good, but getting those sign ups can be a bit like pulling teeth.

                  I'm not very experienced in dating, we have some minor sites, but cams are being sold well...it's the only content you cannot have for free, because it's live.

                  But again, I'm not very experienced in dating so can't compare.

                                  You should be able to use webcam ads and convert dating traffic.. Here's a sample of an amateur model profile that is geo-ip targetted, so it appeals to dating traffic as well

                                                              Surfers/customers can't get instant gratification with live content the way they can just download-for-later with recorded content. Models have to be online and available. Guy has to be able to at the moment, etc...

                                                              A lot of our traffic surfs by in the day, from the office, and comes back at night.

                                                              Plus they're "pickier" - they get in there and "meet" the girls first, and when there's a lot they can take their time clicking and clicking, it's not like a solo-site join...

                                                              So the conversions are slow to start, but whales are much more likely than with regular membership type transactions.
