hi everyone, i think i can share what i have found from my experience with targeting domains to search engines ... i am doing this only three months and i have only about 30 domains listed, so its not so much to make decissions, but here is what i have found and if you have anything to add or to correct, you are much welcomed!

google: most important are backlinks, quality over quantity, cause one backlink can send you deep in results. tooks few days to get listed

yahoo: most important is content, bigger site is better, and doesnt matter if its unique or not. tooks about one month to get listed

bing: most important is domain name, you can have one page site and you can be at first place for nice keywords if you have them in domain name. tooks about three to six weeks to get listed

i have found that buying new domain only to get listed in bing is not bad idea, as you can get nice possition and traffic there is much better quality than in google ...

all this is based on my domains that have been added only to google, yahoo and bing, no other backlinks. all are now on first page for one or two words combinations. thats all for now, i will share what i will find in future. any reply is welcomed and wish you best with your sites!
