MGP owners turned to tubes. They couldn't find enough profit in MGPS. TGPS have better profit because they don't give away as much. Especially the ones that been around for a while. If you're going to give away that much, you have to stay with the times.

because the mgp crowd went tube. I do better with tgp's now then I did when they were big. I think its all the kids went to the tubes and the older guys stay on the tubes and they are more of a buyer.So tgp traffic may of dropped but to me its better traffic now.

I'll second Shemp on this. I submit very few movie galleries any longer as picture galleries just do so much better provided you submit to quality TGP's. There will always be those who just prefer still images over video. Pics are also more versatile allowing enhancement to really make them stand out should one choose.

There are a still a lot of people out there who has a slow(er) internet connection, I guess that's why there are still a lot of people who prefer pictures --> loads way faster.

Quite refreshing really that people still like pictures. I can well believe that it would be an older generation who tend to be more traditional.

Here is my take...some people like to build a fantasy in their head around a picture. Video doesn't allow them to do that as much.
