the day i went to see my father in the hospital. i was 11, being told by my grandmother that he should be out of the hospital in a couple months. his mind was gone that day, he died the next day. i knew a year before that he was going to die, but i wasn't really prepared to deal with seeing him like that. just thinking about it makes my body go numb. nothing can ever compare to how i felt that day.

I had to get a colonoscophy (sp?) -- I had to drink this shit that basically made me piss out of my ass. At one point I drank a glass of cold water and it came out cold.

not much for sticking with bad days, but waking up in jail on mothers day in a different city than where i live and having to call a bailbondsman to call my gf to come pic me up(she had to drive an hour to pick me up and she was not happy)

a year after that waking up in the hospital and i didn't know why. i used to watch x files and i thought i was being tested on(i was wearing jeans, white t shirt socks, and no shoes). i had wires and tubes all over the place and my arms were strapped down. no one would talk to me so i busted out, ripped the iv out and took off running(blood going everywhere). got tackled by a cop and 2 orderlies(knocked one out-which if you met me, you'd know that's not me at all). turns out i had a bac of .349. the gf had to pick me up again. on the car ride home she cried the whole time, then asked why i smelled like piss. well, no one believed me when i said i had to go to the restroom, so i pissed in the bed and yelled "i'm pissing" while i was doing it.

then, two years later when i was on probation, i woke up in jail and didn't know why i was there. and the only person i could call was the same gf(who had dumped my ass the night before) and ask her to call my laywer, a couple friends to find out why i was there, and then to come pick up again.

My worst x-mas memmory was the time when my dad got drunk and set the Christmas tree on fire. He then yelled for us kids to all sit around the tree and sing Stairway to Heaven. We did not see dad for a while after this happened.

Hmmm lets see...

Woke up with a cold... Missed the courier who was supposed to come pick up my laptop and ship it to Quebec to get warrantied. Went on my daily walk down to the bank on Burrard St. No money on me so I could'nt get my daily large double/double from Tim Hortons.

Got to the bank and then was told that the bank's us exchange computer was not functioning and I could not cash my US cheques. Then walked back to spend the better part of the afternoon getting this new desktop setup with all the programs I need for work. Lots of fun!

Then to top the day off this girl I had been dating came down to see me and go out for dinner. She decided it would be a good idea if we stopped seeing each other as we are in different stages of our lives. She wants to settle down and she knows I am not in that stage... She said she is ready to settle down now and not in 5 years... Oh well what can you do.

I spent the last hour in the jacuzzi and am feeling a little better now since I have read all your terrible stories. When you think things are bad they sometimes are no where near as bad as someone else's.

GFY is a young crowd, i don't think the majority of people here have seen any family members or close friends die.

Well, you have something to look forward to!

Watching people you love getcsick and then die is the worst.

Losing pets can be bad, when this dog i have now buys the farm i will feel as bad as losing anybody human other than at most three people, and they only get the edge because they are humans.

Personal worst days other than deaths........... hmmmm, being the new kid in school halfway through a school year really sucks.
Getting dumped really sucks but i've never been dumped where i didn't know it was going to happen and wasn't actually relieved so i can't say i've ever wanted to jump off a roof over a woman.

When my father died suddenly of a heart attack in 1987. He was in NYC at work. I was living in California at the time with my girlfriend. We had been out late the night before and I wanted to sleep in late so I had turned all the ringers down on the phones. He died at 7:30 AM east coast time. Something woke me up earlier than I planned and I walked into my home office and the answering machine was blinking that the message memory was completely full. I was like what the fuck, who the hell was calling me so many times during the night. Of course all the messages were from relatives and my family trying desparetly to reach me.

The fucked part everybody was crying on the messages but no one said what had happened only to call home right away. I was numbed out totally sensing someone had died and couldn't even get to the phone which then rang as soon as I flipped the ringer volume up. It was one of my cousins who then told me my dad had just died. He was only 58 so it was totally unexpected. I just dropped the phone and started shaking uncontrollably thinking ok this whole thing is a nightmare and I'm still really asleep and I tried to tell myself to wake up wake up. Then my girlfriend woke up and saw me standing there shaking and unable to talk and she thought I was having a heart attack and she started to freak out and ran to the phone to call 911. Then I just spent the next hour nonstop crying from the depth of my soul in total disbelief that I would never see my father again.

After that I'd say the other bad days were when 2 of my German Shepherds died. They were like children and losing them was very depressing and sad.

The thing with my dad still hits me and I'll wake up out of a cold sweat kind of sleep dreaming about him and thinking he is still alive and I can pickup the phone and call him and then getting smacked in the face with the reality he died all over again. You just never really get over that shit. It lingers in you forever when you lose someone and you don't even get to say goodbye.

The other major bad one was the 1994 Northridge Earthquake which totally fucked up the gorgeous home we had just recently built.

The day I got caught trying to juggle 3 girls because I got WASTED at a party where I really did not know many people and went home (and fucked) a fourth and apparently they had friends there.

TIP #1. If you are into Asians as I am, don't try juggling two or more at once. Chances are they know each other or know the same friends

Not so sure that was the worst day. Probably the worst was the day I was going to meet two HOT asian girls for some fun and got sick before hand

To me, that is worse than losing your house or some material bullshit like that

July 5, 1997
Leaving Taste of Chicago on 4th of July heading back to Atlanta the next morning. I was driving a van through a long stretch of highway in the middle of Indiana cornfields with a partner of mine. The highway narrowed to one lane since they were doing construction on the road. I hit some debris in the road at about 50-60 mph. The next thing I know the van is flipping over and over down a hill. I think I flipped about 4 times in all. It ended up upside down. I had my seatbelt on and braced myself so I wasn't injured, but I looked around and my partner wasn't even in the vehicle. The doors were crushed shut, so I had to climb out of the van through the fiberglass roof that was torn off during the crash. So now I'm looking at all my luggage, video cameras, etc in the freeway and looking for my friend. I see in the distance him lying on his back in the middle of the highway not moving. I run over there and see blood coming out of his ears and mouth. He wasn't wearing his seatbelt and must have been ejected through the roof of the van during the first roll. I'm in shock thinking about him dying cause he had a young daughter at home. My accident also caused three other wrecks from other people rubbernecking and obviously never seeing a big van roll that many times like the movies. The ambulances came within about 20 min. and took him to surgery and had to cut the other motorists out of their cars that were injured in the other wrecks and take them to the hospital. My friend made it out without major damage but had to go through about 2 yrs of therapy because of nerve damage to his back.

2nd worst day ever...
Sometime in 1996, I used to throw popular high school house parties. I promoted them and my brother DJ'ed them. Well this one we threw at this neighborhood clubhouse got too packed and young people got wild. All of the sudden I hear about 6 loud pops and everyone starts crashing over each other trying to get the fuck outta there. Some thug had a beef with a cat from earlier that week and must have come for retribution at my party. He came and shot two guys. One died and the other was paralyzed for life. Also a female was crushed by the melee and got her foot broken from being trampled. She was on the drill team/cheerleader at my high school, so obviously she had to leave the team for the rest of the year. On top of that, a group of dunk muthafuckas said they wanted their money back (and all the money from the party) since the party was shut down so decided to wait for me in the parking lot with a 12 gauge. I had to tell some people to throw a decoy and tell them I left already and I had to hide out all nite from being jacked or worse.

server fucekd up and went down, needed to change to a host fast, i locate one , then my wallet goes missing unable to pay for it with my cc as i dont even know the number. Still haven't been able to find my wallet, got the cc# from online banking , when all data has been transfered , i go to transfer the DNS

then fucking GOdaddy deceidse its system upgrade time.. so i'm like ok it says 45mins , its been 12 hours now , and i can't cahnge any of my dns... and then when i do change it takes another 48 hours on top of that ...

i know thats not half as bad as the shit here.. but today has got to be the worst day for the year, the chain of bad events were related to each other , that is wut makies it so bad ...

I was 7 years old...and I was sitting at home watching the UH vs. BYU game in 1989. (huge rivals) anyway..my mom called and told us kids that when dad got home to tell him to go to the airport. Well, its a small little island, and we thought it was just one more thing...you know...didn't think anything of it. So me, my sis and bro are sitting there watching tv...my mom calls again, my dad had gotten home by then, but we didn't deliever the msg.
She yelled at us and we told him and he left.
They came back and told us the plane that our older brother was on, was missing. We looked at each other...we didn't know what to do. They said they had to go back and they left...
We kneeled down and prayed...each one of us prayed...none of us got through the prayer...we were crying to hard.

A family friend came and picked us up and we went down to the airport. It was 7pm , the plane was suppose to arrive at 4pm.

And I remember a sence that will forever stay in my mind.

A girl from high school was down there, waiting. The news was delievered that the plane had gone into the side of a mountain, all were dead without a doubt.

She dropped to the ground and started screaming...pounding the asphalt with her fists. I will never forget that...

that was my worst day, I lost my best friend at age 7 he was 14.

It was quite tragic....there were about 20 ppl on board? 13 teenagers...from 14-18 all on the girls and boys volleyball team...

The thing I think that stands out most...
would be at the funeral...my dad just kicked the coffin throughout the whole thing...no breaks, never missed a beat...just methodically kicked it...i never cried about it until i was 14.

Well, you have something to look forward to! Watching people you love getcsick and then die is the worst. Losing pets can be bad, when this dog i have now buys the farm i will feel as bad as losing anybody human other than at most three people, and they only get the edge because they are humans. Personal worst days other than deaths........... hmmmm, being the new kid in school halfway through a school year really sucks. Getting dumped really sucks but i've never been dumped where i didn't know it was going to happen and wasn't actually relieved so i can't say i've ever wanted to jump off a roof over a woman. __________________ I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I was living in California at the time with my girlfriend. We had been out late the night before and I wanted to sleep in late so I had turned all the ringers down on the phones. He died at 7:30 AM east coast time. Something woke me up earlier than I planned and I walked into my home office and the answering machine was blinking that the message memory was completely full. I was like what the fuck, who the hell was calling me so many times during the night. Of course all the messages were from relatives and my family trying desparetly to reach me. The fucked part everybody was crying on the messages but no one said what had happened only to call home right away. I was numbed out totally sensing someone had died and couldn't even get to the phone which then rang as soon as I flipped the ringer volume up. It was one of my cousins who then told me my dad had just died. He was only 58 so it was totally unexpected. I just dropped the phone and started shaking uncontrollably thinking ok this whole thing is a nightmare and I'm still really asleep and I tried to tell myself to wake up wake up. Then my girlfriend woke up and saw me standing there shaking and unable to talk and she thought I was having a heart attack and she started to freak out and ran to the phone to call 911. Then I just spent the next hour nonstop crying from the depth of my soul in total disbelief that I would never see my father again. After that I'd say the other bad days were when 2 of my German Shepherds died. They were like children and losing them was very depressing and sad. The thing with my dad still hits me and I'll wake up out of a cold sweat kind of sleep dreaming about him and thinking he is still alive and I can pickup the phone and call him and then getting smacked in the face with the reality he died all over again. You just never really get over that shit. It lingers in you forever when you lose someone and you don't even get to say goodbye. I was driving a van through a long stretch of highway in the middle of Indiana cornfields with a partner of mine. The highway narrowed to one lane since they were doing construction on the road. I hit some debris in the road at about 50-60 mph. The next thing I know the van is flipping over and over down a hill. I think I flipped about 4 times in all. It ended up upside down. I had my seatbelt on and braced myself so I wasn't injured, but I looked around and my partner wasn't even in the vehicle. The doors were crushed shut, so I had to climb out of the van through the fiberglass roof that was torn off during the crash. So now I'm looking at all my luggage, video cameras, etc in the freeway and looking for my friend. I see in the distance him lying on his back in the middle of the highway not moving. I run over there and see blood coming out of his ears and mouth. He wasn't wearing his seatbelt and must have been ejected through the roof of the van during the first roll. I'm in shock thinking about him dying cause he had a young daughter at home. My accident also caused three other wrecks from other people rubbernecking and obviously never seeing a big van roll that many times like the movies. The ambulances came within about 20 min. and took him to surgery and had to cut the other motorists out of their cars that were injured in the other wrecks and take them to the hospital. My friend made it out without major damage but had to go through about 2 yrs of therapy because of nerve damage to his back. 2nd worst day ever... Sometime in 1996, I used to throw popular high school house parties. I promoted them and my brother DJ'ed them. Well this one we threw at this neighborhood clubhouse got too packed and young people got wild. All of the sudden I hear about 6 loud pops and everyone starts crashing over each other trying to get the fuck outta there. Some thug had a beef with a cat from earlier that week and must have come for retribution at my party. He came and shot two guys. One died and the other was paralyzed for life. Also a female was crushed by the melee and got her foot broken from being trampled. She was on the drill team/cheerleader at my high school, so obviously she had to leave the team for the rest of the year. On top of that, a group of dunk muthafuckas said they wanted their money back (and all the money from the party) since the party was shut down so decided to wait for me in the parking lot with a 12 gauge. I had to tell some people to throw a decoy and tell them I left already and I had to hide out all nite from being jacked or worse.

Still haven't been able to find my wallet, got the cc# from online banking , when all data has been transfered , i go to transfer the DNS then fucking GOdaddy deceidse its system upgrade time.. so i'm like ok it says 45mins , its been 12 hours now , and i can't cahnge any of my dns... and then when i do change it takes another 48 hours on top of that ... i know thats not half as bad as the shit here.. but today has got to be the worst day for the year, the chain of bad events were related to each other , that is wut makies it so bad ... __________________ domain buyer

(huge rivals) anyway..my mom called and told us kids that when dad got home to tell him to go to the airport. Well, its a small little island, and we thought it was just one more thing...you know...didn't think anything of it. So me, my sis and bro are sitting there watching tv...my mom calls again, my dad had gotten home by then, but we didn't deliever the msg. She yelled at us and we told him and he left. They came back and told us the plane that our older brother was on, was missing. We looked at each other...we didn't know what to do. They said they had to go back and they left... We kneeled down and prayed...each one of us prayed...none of us got through the prayer...we were crying to hard. A family friend came and picked us up and we went down to the airport. It was 7pm , the plane was suppose to arrive at 4pm. And I remember a sence that will forever stay in my mind. A girl from high school was down there, waiting. The news was delievered that the plane had gone into the side of a mountain, all were dead without a doubt. She dropped to the ground and started screaming...pounding the asphalt with her fists. I will never forget that... that was my worst day, I lost my best friend at age 7 he was 14.

The thing I think that stands out most... would be at the funeral...my dad just kicked the coffin throughout the whole thing...no breaks, never missed a beat...just methodically kicked it...i never cried about it until i was 14. worst days make you stronger...and realize life is awesome
