You will be surprised how many mid level studios are willing to sell an all you can eat license for $100 bucks.Yeah...I signed up for Moviebox to see if they had our content in there and canceled. I keep getting spam emails from them every time they add a new studio. Vivid is in there.
Moviebox gives smaller studios 100 per title lifetime licensing deal. With that you are permitting them to put your shit all over all of their tube properties (existing and upcoming).
So some mid-level studio could get 10K for the license, which given today's fucked up economy, might be a nice influx of cash. The problem is once they've whored your content all over the tubes, your content is worthless and you go out of business.

I don't know because I wasn't involved in adult until 2000, but I think that companies like Vivid had a monopoly on adult before the internet existed. The internet reduced overhead and lowered barriers to entry. I think it was the beginning of the end for the Old Guard.Comment
