    Youtube launches 3D

    Just came across this on Engadget - looks like Youtube has gone 3D - with several viewing options including the ol' "cross-eyed no glasses needed" mode.

    YouTube enters the cavernous, chromatic world of 3D





    *Warning* This dude's voice is the equivalent of shooting a nail gun in your ear...

    I couldn't get the cross-eyed thing to work myself, but the article did inspire me to go out and register a slew of "3D" themed domains this morning.

              Interesting, I have a bunch of the red/cyan glasses that came with Shrek 3d... I'll have to check that out

                                          I agree that the colored glasses are an outdated 80's gimmick, but w/ the more recent Real 3D, IZ3D monitors and polarized lenses - this could be the start of something.
