I think webair is offering free domain privacy. They have competitive prices but their control panel for domain management is a POS.

I have accounts with Moniker and Godaddy but prefer Godaddy ......6.99 (plus 20 cents icann fee) free private whois if you transfer 5 or more....24-7 telephone support (*** thats the main thing for me ! *** ) your own personal domain manager and much more ......thats why they remain the biggest domain registrar on the net

Except for actual webhosting. Not the best there. Domain registrar though, they are good.
For hosting, whatever.
