However, what most people fail to realize is that this is a precedent set in Viacom vs. Google and just because Google can get away with using DMCA to shield itself against punitive damages does not necessarily mean that some fucktard running a porn tube can get away with it also. Somebody just needs to step up to the fucking plate.

                                                                                                                                                                            In addition, the judge in Viacom vs. Google did not take statutory damages off the table, that has yet to be determined. No precedent has been set, which means that program owners could still sue for statutory damages. The only reason this shit is still legal is because no one is fighting to make it illegal. Yes, what they are doing is perfectly legal at the moment, but let's call a fucking spade a spade. What they are doing is exploiting a legal loophole to rob this industry blind so they can line their pockets.

                                                                                                                                                                                I sure hope you are trying to contact someone from KeezMovies to remove your content, instead of selling/licensing them your content (since you already made back your investment on that product), because you know they will repost it to surfers for free (in hopes of upsells to the advertisers/affiliate links on their site), while they ruin the value of your content for the people like myself whom licensed your content as bonus content for their Members area.

                                                                                                                                                                                Content flatlines in value as soon as you sell it non-exclusively. Sure you might get 10k in one day, but after that you ability to make money from that content again is almost nil.

                                                                                                                                                                                More producers need to get that through their heads. Not that the tubes sites are paying for the videos they post anyways.

The bottom line is DMCA laws need to change to make site owners responsible for the stolen content on their site, no matter what, whether a user uploaded it or not. I doubt that will happen though. So although "illegal tubes" are unethical, they still have the law on their side and that's all they need to stay in business.
