Are you doing it yourself or hiring a developer?
I'd recommend Drupal. Took me 3 weeks to get used to customizing it(nothing major, but enough for my needs). It's got the most powerful back-end.
But Joomla is probably the most user-friendly.

Surreal is much better than Cushy, but yes the concept is similar.
It's also less expensive.

Yes, I just need to decide between Typo3 and Drupal.
Joomla is nice but its more for smaller tasks
