Would you want to witness 315 Excecutions ?

I think this guy must be getting his jollies or something for attending so many. Job aside, there has to be something wrong in the head, to be wanting to be present? I personally would'nt want to see 1, unless it was connected to a crime affecting my immediate family.

Yea, I definitely wouldn't want to witness an execution either. Unless, of course, there was a personal tie to it like you mention.

I would not want to see anyone executed no matter what under any circumstances. If someone was being killed supposedly on my behalf, I would be horrified in fact.

You see, I think punishment ends when the person dies, so I'll never be for the death penalty. Kind of as simple as that I guess.

I agree on both points. I would not want to watch anyone die again. Saw it as a 16 year old and had to give evidence in The Old Bailey. Both things that made an impression on me. Plus had to look at a loved one thinking she would not make it.

Also prisons are not the leisure camps some make out. A real life sentence should mean just that and a lot harder than going to sleep one day. Also if you make a mistake and they have been made you can release a living person, can't do that if he's dead.

Also in the US I read it was more expensive to try a person who is going to be executed than one who is facing a life sentence. It's the appeals that rack up the cost.

I think there must be something wrong with executioners and people who decide to be in this type of business. Obviously, this choose this job, because it is something that they enjoy doing. Perhaps they have sadistic inclinations.

I saw a women die after being stabbed in the heart by her son, who basically excuted her while we where in basement celebrating my friend, his brother's, bday.

Needless to say I do not ever wish to see someone die in front of me again.

I would be there ASAP!, to see a child rapist or a murderer fry. Yes there have been many innocent people who have not been put to death because they were not guilty. That goes for anyone that is in prison for any reason.

Some people are sadistic about this, but some just want to see a murderer, a child rapist pay their debt.
