Funny how "french" canadians do not celebrate bastille day
????????
Please tell me why? If they are "french" why not celebrate the national fete that is bastille day? |

Good question. I looked it up and from what I gathered it's because Quebecers were under British rule before the French Revolution took place so it never became embedded in their culture.

They are not french, they are "french speaking".
I don't think american celebrate english national fete, no ?
