M5 comes pretty well stocked at 85k
not much you can add to the thing that it doesn't come with standard
Not sure where you've been shopping...but with the exception of a couple of audio options, and a couple of fancy seat options its loaded msrp. Now the problem is finding a dealer with a stock M5 without the useless options.Last edited by Young; 07-14-2009, 03:18 PM.★★★

I live in Allberta, been in Red Deer for a few months, and if you take a drive across town down Gaetz, you're going to see at least 5-6 different challengers on any given day. I went home to visit family in a town of 4000, and I know of 3 between the highway entrance to town and my old man's place. The fucking things are everywhere here. They are the Semi-ballin Cavalier of the highway. Every middleaged dude with a yearly income closing in on 60k ran otu and bought one of the damn things I swear. Buddy was thinking of getting one and just cruising around over the period of a week he realized just how not standout or cool they are at all.
Don't get me wrong, they are a nice looking car, but god damn everyone and their uncle has one of the things.....

The GTR is definitely my favorite car mentioned this far in this thread.

you can find a sweet deal on a year old M6 or M5 for about that price range. nothing wrong with used, most people just cant afford the payments anymore and have to give it up. If your not into sports cars, you can find deals on an mbenz S63. Audi just changed their front end, so I wouldnt by anything but a 09+
if you find a good deal, you can actually drive it around for about a year then turn around and sell it and not loose any money (win = price - payments < resale cost). Thats where Im at with my 2 cars now. I bought a new car years ago and ate over $8k on resale. I could sell both my cars now make money (not profit).Email: Clicky on MeComment

Plus 2 for the Audi S5.
My wife is due for a replacement on her Ford Explorer, and I've been looking into getting something different. I mean, I'm glad we had the Explorer - it was a work horse, and our daughter more or less destroyed the back seat with her messes. But it's time to ugprade to a nicer SUV. I don't want the same crap everyone else has, and I've been looking into Audi.
Next up I'll be getting something new, and I'm looking at the Audi S5.Herschel Savage

I would give some serious thought to a year old. In the US you can still get huge deals on some of this stuff. You might get a m5 one year old and save 20k or you can buy the new one and turn the key and have lost 20k. The market is just that soft last time I looked.Comment

This guy has 8 or 9 dollars to spend on a car, at most. I say he should save up his money for a few months and buy a bus pass.Comment

I'm in Edmonton, I don't see very many Challengers here. Everybody is driving a Chrysler 300, with chrome doors and rims and everything and a fancy chrome grille. I swear, what a fucking stupid waste of money.I live in Allberta, been in Red Deer for a few months, and if you take a drive across town down Gaetz, you're going to see at least 5-6 different challengers on any given day. I drive a 2008 ML350, which I bought brand new. Now I'm seeing the new E Class, and I am thinking that it is one nice car. I have never liked it before, but the new headlight shape is really nice. And it has a ton of new features that aren't even in the S Class yet.
So that is what I suggest you buy.Sig too big

I like the idea of buying a year old, or maybe even a current years model with miles on it.
My brother found a woman in the Hamptons who's ex bought her an 2009 M5 and she then changed her mind and wanted a SUV. He offered her 35,000 for it, and she took it. He ended up with a low miles M5 for what he would have paid for a Nissan Altima.Comment

swapalease.com is your friend, screw wasting all your cash on buying when you can find tons of suckers who couldnt afford their cars in the first place and now have to get rid of them since they cant pay the payments.
One of my current cars is from there and im looking at M6 this week that some poor sap cant afford. No money down, they ususally give you a incentive check upfront to take the car, and you can write it off as a business expense. I get a different car every 12-18 months, and it usually cheaper than owningComment

unless you are filthy rich and 80-90g's is nothing to you, then I would suggest getting something cheaper. I did the same thing a few years ago and regretted buying a car that I had an unpleasant time paying off.80% Revshare or 30$ PPS on $1 trials: 200 Niches = Vidz.com Galleries / FLVs / Embeds
