Yes, I have been having problems with Trillian as well, only with ICQ.
(I use trillian pro 3)
I am using Meebo.com until the problem is fixed, it's simple, you don't have to dl anything.
This trillian problem happened a few weeks ago to myself and a few of my contacts.
Meebo is perfect to use while we wait for trillian to get corrected.

OMG, I thought it was just me. I tried reinstalling Trillian and disconnected my icq from Trillian but no luck so I'm on regular ICQ which sucks because I can only see numbers not contact names.
I turned to meebo until Baddog told me that he kept getting notices to upgrade to something and he and I weren't even chatting. Apparently meebo was sending random messages to him.
I've had two people just now tell me to try Trillian Astra since they're loving it and have not had any trouble, especially today.

Got the patch, that wored, got to make sure when you apply it you drop it in the plug ins file under trillian and you're all good.

Follow these instructions posted by this guy Scott on the support board:
Installing this patch involves copying the new file on top of the old file. You cannot double click the new DLL file to install it, but instead must open Windows Explorer and find your old file, usually in the Program Files\Trillian\plugins directory.
1) Stop Trillian.
2) Unzip the attached file to your desktop.
3) Open explorer and locate your old Trillian install - usually C:\Program Files\Trillian\plugins\
4) Drag the new aim.dll on top of the old aim.dll to replace it.
5) Restart Trillian.

I just installed trillian astra yesterday and its pretty dope. You can also plugin all your accounts like myspace and facebook as well. Might be a little more gui intensive than most people like, especially since the old trillian was pretty basic, but you can change it to look like somewhat like the old one.Nick "Meeper" Amoroso
