With garlic butter, it's delicious ...

j/k... Seriously, But if you catch them, maybe you can post an ad at the local pet shop (and CraigsList), their owner will certainly be happy to get them back

Unless they are trying to get to you or into your house, I doubt they need help. There are small populations of small parrots like that in a lot of metro areas. They get along by themselves just fine.

get a cage open the door, put some bird goodies in it. tie a string to the door and hide around the corner. When they go in to eat the goodies *bam shut the door. tweet tweet

No problem. They might be interested in a small wooden birdhouse if you want to keep them around. If it's a pair they may nest in it.

Those little green ones were brought over here from Mexico maybe. I see tons of peddlers down there tryin to pawn em off for next to nothin.

I dont know if they have diseases or worms or whatever. If your dog eats one and doesnt get sick then keeep em around.

If your dog does get sick then ditch the feeder ;) Jus my .02

Help them? Leaving them alone would probably be the best thing you could do for them.

Thanks again!!! I am going to go to Petsmart tomorrow and get a few birdie things for them outside so they stick around. I can't stand having birds in the house because they drive me nuts, so to have cute little birds like that outside would rock!!!

there's even a website for reporting sightings there..

I remember in the 80's when bush gardens closed down, they let out a bunch of green parrots, they use to fly all over the san fernando valley in a big group, I wonder if they are still doing that?
Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
                                think about that

Exactly. Rejoice in their freedom! Nice pics.
Does me good to see them free. Never believed in caging a bird. (but jmo, I'm not interested in any debates)

They really enjoy to ride on the ceiling fan.

Make sure to tape a sock tightly around one paddle so they can get a good grip, otherwise they slip off at higher RPM's.

They are of the Agapornnidian family, also know as Porn Birds or Love Birds.

If you live in the right climate, they may survive outdoors. They would die here in the winter.

I used to raise them - if they were raised in captivity, it should be simple to catch them by moving the feeder into a cage.

These two look like my pair, Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

Those are definitely Lovebirds. We used to breed them. Pet store would give us $70 per bird. Was a nice side business back in the day.

I would call local animal control. they would know better about the birds if they are part of the area or birds who got away.
