How Do I Hook My Laptop Up To My Flat Screen?
we have a new flat screen that is less than 6 months old. Am I right in thinking that all I need is an S-cable?

flat screen tv? if the tv has a vga/dvi port you can use that.. If your laptop has an hdmi port you can connect it to the hdmi on the tv.

I hook my laptop up to my 50inch plasma via hdmi. Result is really good.

If you have a port on your laptop and TV that looks like this:
 Then just run out to BestBuy or Radio Shack for about $10 and buy one of these (VGA Cable):  And switch your TV to the PC setting |
