JFK... i've been reading economic forecasts from the world bank. I think he will only be able to play the "it's called a bad economy" card through early 2011 at best. he might be able to stretch it into late 2011/early 2012.
(totally floors me that someone would blame the economy for not paying someone in a business where you essentially operate on other peoples money and the sales they generate)

I don't recall taking side here anytime, but JFK and Tibor are among the most honest people I know in this industry and I stand by them. How someone could try to launch something whithout paying his depts first is beyond me.

He's done. Something like this at the launch of a new program is monumentally bad. If he thinks for one second that he has either a name or a program worth $10 after all this, he's has NO business sense whatsoever. He has just f'd himself royally and should figure out an exit strategy and quickly.
There's really no recovering from this. Even if he paid everyone today (which we all know isn't going to happen) he'll still never gain back the lost trust and admiration of the companies he was doing business with or those he's seeking to gain as affiliates.Comment

I agree with you that he shouldn't have booked it if he can't pay. Blaming bad economy is not really an acceptable answer either. But after reading this on about 190 threads it's becoming a little boring, don't you think?
Ben has been in this business for more then 10 years and generated a lot of money for many people here over these years. To crucify him like this over something you can resolve privately in a more appropriate matter is not more or less then the evil being described Ben has done imho. Making negative publicity like this for 3 days only show publically the negative financial situation that many have gotten themselves into. I don't see how putting someone out of business will help you in getting your money back.
