    Tampa or Miami!!!

    For the guys/girls living in Tampa/Miami.. which one is better and more fun??

    Im thinking of moving down to FL for a bit, still deciding between Tampa/miami.

    I want somewhere i'll have a lot of fun..

    My budget for rent is prolly around $2,000/month.

      Right now Miami has some HIGH unemployment and lots of people are looking to other places. So you might get a nice deal on a nice place. The Latinas are hot as hell and thats a good thing.

      Tampa I have not been back to in some time so I dont know any more..

          Really depends on your lifestyle, but I love living in Tampa ... You might also want to check-out the downtown St.Petersburg area as well. Very cool, laid back area and closer to the beaches.

                      I'd visit both before making up your mind... The cultures are quite different. Personally I like Tampa better, but most people prefer the cultural diversity and faster pace of Miami.

                          Tampa seems to be the hot spot in FLA these days. I have a lot of friends moving there.

                          I prefer Miami myself.

                              My vote is for Miami. I lived in Central Florida for 28 years...

                              It all depends on what you like to do in your off time. Miami has great clubs, ton's of hot girls, and SoBe is littered with cute girls walking around in bikinis. Just be prepared to have a girl on each arm if you want to get into any of the more exclusive clubs.

                              Tampa feels more business oriented and while it has some great beaches they're gulf coast so I'm not a big fan of the water... Less hot chicks roaming around a shit ton more Scientologists...

                              Miami is boat ride away from lots of tropical islands as well...

                                  Both cities have a lot to do .....both cities have a TON of hot chicks. The difference is that in Tampa, the hot chicks are actually approachable.

                                                      Been livin' in Tampa for about a year... it's aight. Gets old fast and the weed sucks unless you pay a whole lot of money. The beach is great though, I love the gulf water.

                                                                              It's extremely difficult to compare the two. Part of the reason I live here has to do with business and taxes. But, if I could legally live in the USA (I'm Canadian), Tampa would be in my top 3.

                                                                                          Can't say I've ever had that problem. Two years in a row I went on vacation to Miami with my girlfriend and another couple and we strolled into all the hottest clubs in SOBE. Didn't even have to line up, doormen just told us to go right in as we walked by. We were all 22-24 years old at the time as well (in 2006 and 2007)

                                                                                          . Not sure if it was coz we were foreigners, or the fact we dress nice or the fact my girlfriend and my friends girlfriend are hot but you defo don't need 2 chicks to 1 guy.

                                                                                          I was a bit afraid actually with reading some stuff people on here posted before hand but Miami couldn't have treated us any better. Its my fav place ever, I would live there very very happily. Make sure you have money to really enjoy it tho - by that I don't mean bottle service all weekend long - but make sure you can afford to go to the good clubs and drink for the night, coz its defo worth it and you'll love the place.

                                                                                          I might even go back over for a week in September actually, haven't been since 2007.

                                                                                                                                  Tampa is ok, but its a step slower than Miami. I saw you ask about Orlando. DONT DO IT - Orlando is for families, really slow.

                                                                                                                                  Tampa has Ybor city which is ok. That bowling/club/restaurant spot is nice also. The clubs in Tampa close at 2am and the strip clubs have too many rules.

                                                                                                                                  Miami is basically anything goes. Much more variety and options.

                                                                                                                                              look on craigslist.. u can live downtown miami for cheap in a brand new bldg. Thers so many new bldg with very low occupancy.. for instance Icon Brickell is brand new and really nice.

                                                                                                                                              If you wanna live on south beach it will be a bit higher cause its the hottest place in the country to live

                                                                                                                                                                  Tampa is the Strip Club capitol of the USA......but their higest profile club Mons Venus is NON-alcohol....or NO liquor.

                                                                                                                                                                  the other drawback to Tampa is that it closes......its not a 24/7 town.

                                                                                                                                                                  While down in Miami if you go downtown to Club Space.....over the weekend the party doesnt stop till dawn......and its right next to a stip club the GoldRush and is also open 24/7.

                                                                                                                                                                  Also the strip clubs in SOUTH Florida are really DIRTIER......if your looking for those style clubs.....and your not too far if you want to drive to Fantasy Fest (Key West).....you also have Hallandale (NUDE) Beach.


                                                                                                                                                                  Guavaween or Fantasy Fest = Florida's ver of Mardi Gras.


                                                                                                                                                                  Do yourself a favor and dont move to Orlando unless you have kids......since its a DISNEY based town....the mouse rules the roost in their space.
