I just posted a job ad (web / grunt work) on several german "webmaster"-boards yesterday and got my ad deleted on 2 of them as the domain of my email contains erotic contents and they don't want "this kind of stuff" there ... fucking freaks ... i mean it's recession, isn't a job = a job? I mean ... it's web work, i'm not looking for male porn talent or something lol

While I do understand and if there were not soooo many people unemployed, I would agree. What they should have done was to tell you before they removed, that you needed to edit it with a gmail or other account.

Its always funny as hell to see people saying there are no jobs when all you have to do is pick up the news paper.. what they mean to say is that there are " NO JOBS they WANT "

Yeah, ok, i'd understand that, but it was our normal company website, which has no adult content at all, but says we're working in adult & links to our sites that contain adult-oriented material...

Yep, that's the point, i mean, i hear day in day out this company is bankrupt, and this company kills x Jobs, etc. - we're growing faster than we can handle and we're desperately looking to hire (local) staff - but it seems like we suddently have a 100% employment-rate here as nearly noone applies (and we advertise it around boards, newspapers, job-websites, etc.) ...

Right. Try going on any mainstream board run by oh say any of the big tv networks for example, abc, nbc etc, or any board where people are talking about anything mainstream where they also have an "anything goes" open forum and try pushing anything adult and see how long your account lasts.
Book forums,
movie forums,
religious forums,
finance forums,
sports and fitness forums,
local and regional message boards that have forsale and discussion boards, etc etc etc.
All of them will shitcan you the second you are reported or discovered.

Sorry, there may be some privately-run mainstream boards that allow adult-related posts, you're right that they exist - I've seen them as well myself, but they aren't the bulk of mainstream by any stretch. The ones that allow adult content are in the minority.

There are people from every country, even Germany, on this board. No need to knock one's head against mainstream boards with mainstream mentality towards anything adult.

these hypocrites crack me up because I know several who have made comments to me about working in adult, posting on an adult forum, etc. but these are the idiots who have a closet full of DVDs and VHS tapes they plop in when their wife goes to bed

Yes, of course there are german adult wm boards and of course there are germans around here too, but as i mentioned i'm looking for someone local and for quite simple tasks (maybe some student looking for a few extra bucks per month or something like that).

Yeah, totally agree with you. I mean, most of us started in non-adult, i had a mainstream business before and switched to adult after doing an adult project for a client. And what's the difference between building a website for an insurance company and building a website in adult? The only difference i see is seeing more naked skin in adult - and that's nothing like a disadvantage in my opinion ;)
