    Going to Washington, DC - Dulles the best airport?

    Dulles or Baltimore/Washington (BMI) - which is best?

    Any input?

      Out of those Dulles would be my choice but if you are going to DC and not NoVa I'd fly into Reagan National.

              Dulles is the better option by far. A lot less congested.

                  Forgot about Reagan . . . . hotel says 15 minutes from there, but 45 from Dulles or BMI.

                      Reagan is buy far your best bet. Cost wise should be comparable to dulles and bwi, but convenience wise is off the charts. If you arrive at any sort of peak traffic time, could easily take an hour to 1.5 to get from either airport to downtown DC.

                          Opted for Dulles for the non-stop capability. Will give me a chance to try Virgin while I am at it.

                          We are getting in on a Sunday evening (4:30) so it should not be too bad and I can avoid the likes of Delta and US Airways.
