The gist of this sort of chat traffic is that they have 'chatters' out there pretending to be women or cam girls. They chat up men but tell them either they will send them nude pictures or get naked on camera (that sort of thing anyway) in exchange for them signing up for a site and giving them the confirmation code. They usually tell them that they can then cancel it right away. So, on the one end you have somebody having people signing up with the purpose of cancelling right away and getting them the free trial signup money. Which is why, many affiliate programs now bar chat traffic in their terms and conditions. Then, it is often fraud to the surfer too because there is no 'woman' and after they have joined the person they were chatting to vanishes and gives them nothing in return.Comment

Don't push away chat traffic just because of a few bad apples. A few webmasters do it correctly, without complaints or frauding the surfer. Always make them push a landing page they host, that way you can see the offer. ~TheDoc - ICQ7765825

I always wondered why chatters simply don't take it one step further and just promote a cams site of a girl who is actually online. Sure, promise them the world but actually deliver on the goods. That way when they join they can chat/interact with a real girl and probably retain them pretty well too since they'll think they were chatting with her the whole time. Win win for everyone, no?

I know, if they are going to go to the lengths of employing banks of people to do all that work just go all the way through with it and hook up with a sponsor on a legit level and d a promotion deal. It is the starting out trying to pull something over the sponsor and waiting to get caught that is just never going to go down well.Comment

Yes, PH Chat is a special brand. I hate even talking about a group like that because it is so against who I am as a person but it is hard to deny there is a PH chat fraud chat ring. They hire banks of guys to pretend to be women and go hunt out the male surfers.
