Yeah that's what I have. Except I got it before AT&T branded an E71x. I have the E71-2 I got last October. Pretty awesome, but obviously lacks the iPhone apps and interface.

My brother loves his iPhone 3Gs!

He never had a good phone before. Only gripe is the less than stellar battery performance in the 3G mode.

Anyone get it? Gonna get it?

I don't plan to as I have a good Nokia qwerty phone that's unlocked, but I'm curious who is in on this phone. It's finally now affordable and fully featured. If I was going to buy an iPhone, now would be the time.

I've had the 3gs for a couple weeks and I love it - huge improvement from the 2g iPhone.

They came out last Friday

I went to the apple store in Lancaster PA and they still had a huge stock pile left. The AT&T store by my house said they could order one, it would take 2 weeks

battery life, focus feature on the camera, 3mp camera, video recording (push to youtube), with use of MobileME you can "remote find your phone" (shows on a google maps like app) and remote wipe which personally i think is pretty cool. you can restore your phone to default from your MobileME account.

However, i can see this causing LOTS of problems with hackers getting in a wiping huge amounts of phone remotely for users... so i opted out of MobileME

as a internet device I love it as a phone the nokia blows it away. I had the 71x I found it weak, compared to my unlocked E51. If I had gooten the E71 right off the bat, I probably wouldnt of gotten the iphone.

Yes, lots actually! The biggest improvement for me though is how fast apps load - its extremely noticeable. This comes in handy especially for the camera app; I've got a 4 year old and the 2g lost me many picture opportunities.

I like having the compass functionality in maps, the camera's quality is much better, I like how fast everything runs in general and being able to shoot & quickly edit video!!

I upgraded my 2g to 3.0 as well and it is still light and day.

You're probably right they can. I just don't know where or how. I'm sure you'll find it.

Only thing is . . . if you unlock, then download an iPhone software/security update, you're also download the re-locking, so you'd have to have it unlocked yet again!

I am definitely upgrading from my 2g. It's really worth the upgrade. For 3G users it may not be that 'great' update, but for us still on 2g it's amazing.
Unlock will be out very soon, so it's mine after that ;)
