You know from the pics and the vid he looks way better than I expected. He doesn't look like someone struggling with their health, lacking sleep and just falling apart. Instead he looks similar to 10 years ago and still pretty damn smooth on his feet.

Yeah, only James Brown was able to do all that dancing and still sing on key.
Lip syncing live is now the norm if their show is a bunch of running around the
stage dancing. Trying to sing also would have killed him for sure.

The amount of energy to dance and sing is way beyond what the average Joe
thinks. It is absolutely exhausting.

Try it, do a MJ song and dance like him and try to sing, then do it 20 times. Good luck.

Jackson did plenty of concerts live. I don't know if this one would have been or not, but it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't going to be. He's 50 and the physicality of his stage shows are above and beyond anything Prince or Aerosmith does.

He was in a very good shape for his age, slower than when he was young but good for 50 yo ... I don't know if he was really singing there, but it would have been a great comeback for the fans! Sad he is gone ...
