Flight tickets going up ?

Anyone else noticing this ? Tickets I paid 450-800 USD for in the past is now 1000-1500 USD with no obvious reasons (to me), anyone else noticed this as well ?

I'm booking mostly tickets between Europe and USA

What's a good place to book tickets cheap these days ?

Try priceline.com I just got a round trip ticket on Virgin from LAX - Boston for 230 bucks (non stop both ways).

I know flying to Chicago this month cost me at least twice as much as I am accustomed to paying.

Piece of advice: No matter how cheap it may be, avoid US Airways at all costs.

I'm doing my best to avoid them, I'm already pissed at them from my last trip flying with them

If that happens, welcome to hyper inflation. Winter is coming and unemployment going up, what a perfect way to kill a barely surviving economy.
