It might have something to do with tubes being more Web 2.0 friendly. Fortunately, there's linking strategies to counteract that. Try http://www.highrevenue.com and click the link building tag
It's the inbound links. The smart tube sites posted at least one really crazy video per day. Scat, pissing, super old ladies, etc. Those get the most links.
The definition of SE traffic changed forever, the traffic pool changed forever.
It's very simple - the most free stuff attracts the most attention, unless google starts to block these sites (I don't know if it's possible to send something as DMCA complaint that someone pirates your goods etc.) you'll hardly see SE traffic getting closer to what it used to be.
Still, there are niches that are not pirated (such as ours) and the traffic still converts

How can a website be Web 2.0 friendly? Especially in an SEO context? Or do you just mean SEO-friendly...
Seriously, I hate the phrase 'Web 2.0' with such a passion, it's the most pointless and meaningless phrase in the history of pointless and meaningless phrases.

Lol i am really tired of bullshit "tubes are more seo friendly".They are NOT,they simply buy more hard links then owners of other type sites. And also tube owners work much more on their sites.
