how do i embed a video so it will pop a url?

Hasn't worked with WMP for a looong time, and they disabled the ability to abuse flash in the common browser runlevel. There are ways around it, but they're pretty nasty.

It still says that in the Google cache version? Did you scroll to the absolute bottom? (hit [End] key)

They still have all the "Please subscribe" and blanked out answers at the top of the page and half-way down the page, but near the bottom the actual answers are shown. At least that's what's coming up for me.

If you still can't get it I'll copy-and-paste.

dont u lose that when you re encode?

for example you have the video to pop but when you upload to another site that re encodes video, the pop is rendered useless?

I was speaking of using it via Flash or ASX, not embedding it directly in the AVI. Doing it directly in the AVI, yeah, you can (will) lose the metadata.

the old way was patched it no longer works, havent seen any working ways , there are several alternatives.

heres a nice method that nd is using.

wait until the video is done. the page pops a join form over the video after its done.

another method is the one megavideo uses, have the video paused when it is loaded, the play button triggers a popunder as well as starting the video

thats done with the windows media encoder, its not an avi file , and it only works on windows media player

i could make it pop whatever url you want though, just drag the video into notepad , look for the url www.peertracking , replace it with your own url of the exact same length
