I love my place so far

I was in London during the last heat wave--2003. Beautiful, clean city.

This is where everybody from London runs in and tells you that you are wrong but I largely agree. Though, there could be more street cleaners.

You must have been suffering from heat stroke if you thought London was beautiful or clean. It is a city though so you got 1:3 right.

McDonalds are one of the few air conditioned places in each town in england.

Most homes here dont have AC either. And you would never even begin to imagine that. But its really not that hot and we almost always have a nice breeze.

not a lie..I bet similar scenes (albeit not as attractive) have taken place in bedrooms across the land the past few nights

its too bad. sounds like global pisdec is near. its been +33-37C for 2 weeks now, its odd for June.

This thread reminds me of last summer in Melbourne, Australia... the temperature peak that day was an all time record, 46C / 115F. It had never gone that high since weather recording began in the 1800s.

Of course my slight discomfort sitting in an air conditioned car was nothing compared to the hundreds of people that lost their lives that day.
