I see your point and agree. I am not saying I would send me 8 yr old son for a sleepover party w M, but it has some other factors as well: how old kid were there for sleepovers? What acts were prooved? Whats this weird jesus juice - i've never heard of it. But most the important thing is: if the kid wants to go and have fun or not. And if he wants, until what time? For example I see really no bad things is several kids [age 12+] are invited to have fun at M's territory: I am sure he is not alone there with the kids, some staff and bodyguards would be nearby, so imo no bad things could happen for real. I can say with absolute authority as a mother of 2 that if one of my children were hurt or molested by someone there is NO AMOUNT OF MONEY that would make me settle out of court. Not just for my child's sake but also for any potential victims sakes. That trial was never "supposed" to happen. What was supposed to happen was mom and kid accuse him, get the press whipped up, maybe jackson makes another video saying he didnt do shit and to bring on the trial. Then mom and kid were supposed to deal out of court for a settlement. Please do not forget that they had done this before!
Well along comes the prosecution who says to mom and kid, look jerks, if he molested you then we're busting in and arresting him and you WILL testify, got me? And mom and kid shook in their boots and said ok mister man, and then that entire fiasco ramped up. The kid was a horrible witness on the stand. Mechanical, no emotion, just going through the planned Q & A as rehearsed. Fell apart on cross with the I'm not sure, I dont remember blah blah.
You guys, he was not "normal" as maybe you and I refer to "normal". But they couldnt even prove that an abnormal weirdo recluse did anything illegal! In the OJ case I was thinking wow, he is really getting proven guilty... But OJ "won" that case because the defense was so good at showing the police and detective work was like keystone cops. Criminalist Dennis Fung not knowing he carried out his posse box with evidence in it which the defense team caught on a freaking tv news tape at their hotel. Detective Van Atter taking oj's shoes and vial of BLOOD home in his CARS TRUNK before checking them into the evidence locker!! That case had EVIDENCE this one had ALLEGATIONS and heresy thats why he never got convicted. The law doesn't care whether the parents want to press charges or not, they can do that themselves if they had enough evidence or sound witnesses.
