				Keyword Density and Adult
Can someone suggest an acceptable/safe keyword density to use on a page for each major keyword. Or what is the minimum and maximum number of times a keyword should appear on a page, and at what intervals. I have heard from not over 4.5 percent to between 2 and 4 percent. What say you?

				 | The answer is simple: It depends. There is no magic number. It depends on many things, including the current competition for those keywords/phrases. I have some pages that target keyphrases that I keep around 4% of content. I have others that I keep about 12%. It also depends on whether a higher percentage still allows your text to read correctly. |

				 | Not trying to be a sigwhore, but IBP (http://www.axandra.com/go.to/fusionx/2/gfy) does a great job of recommending optimization changes based on the current top 10 ranking for your keyphrases, compared against your page. I love it. |

				 | yes, i was using http://www.seositecheckup.com to run my urls through. great, i will just keep checking back and continuing to optimize then. I am launching a busty directory and was just trying to get some feedback from some of you, who are gurus in this sort of thing. Thanks for the responses, I appreciate it!
