Is that desert one the one that gives off a numbing substance when it bites you? I've heard the guys in Iraq and Afghanistan have to be careful of them - apparently they get you while you sleep, eat away at you from the foot upwards and, because of the numbing substance, you don't feel a thing. Then you wake up in the morning with half a leg or something! :Oh crap

If I ever saw something like that in my house I would

a. shit myself

b. go all Jack Bauer on it with a baseball bat, chair, giant can of RAID, or anything else within reach.

(not necessarily in that order) (in fact I might shit myself twice) (once before going all Jack Bauer, and once after)


Luckily I have electronic devices installed in every level of my home that emits a signal that drives such critters away and keeps them from entering the premises.

good ole wolf spiders. We get them in the fall quite often when the come in from the fields close to our house.

Hey, I didn't know he was harmless at the time or I wouldn't have killed him, like I posted.
