It was amazing how the "sales rep" who picked up the phone for new account set up said the former Ibill was owned by "another company" when clients stopped being paid. It wasn't the old Ibill's fault countless webmasters lost thousands of dollars. Even if it was, the new Ibill doesn't have anything but a trademark name associated with the old IBill...aside from the orginal programmers, of course. Do they really expect the webmasters they stole from to stay down and accept the ass fucking? How is it that they are getting new sign ups and new business? Could it be small businesses that do not know any better or larger businesses that they made sure to pay off before not paying their smaller accounts? Cheyenne |
1. These guys had nothing to do with the owners of the old iBill.
2. They must not be very bright using the iBill name if they really want to sell to adult merchants. |
I dont believe the crap that these new IBILL ass hats spout for one micro second. When Iballs went down it spawned at least half a dozen clones. These clone companies where all started by ex Iballs employees. They all saw how Iballs was being run and how the Adult webmaster was being skinned alive. Im sure they thought to themselves, wow all those webmaster got taken for millions and no one did a thing about it, so I guess we can do the same.
Take Smegpay and recent posts on GFY about them billing for tube site knowing full well that tube site profit from others stolen content. And when they get caught with their hand in the cookie jar WTF did they do, try to wiggle out of it and when GFY would not let it die they termed the client. Im sure had GFY members not posted about this incident they would still be a client. I will never ever trust any company that was started by ex employees of IBALLS even if they just washed dishes there. They all seem to be tarred with the same brush. I seriously dont see why the onus is on the content owner to police every site on the web just to have his ? content removed from a site. Better that the processing company checks up front. CCBill does regular checks so why not Smegpay ? :2 cents::2 cents: |
Just signed up .. man they are awesome .. !! .. BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ... fucking ring-assed fart suckers ....

The one place it didn't go was to the webmaster's who earned it. I did hear First Data kept quite a chunk. But its anyone guess :(

i use to work for that fucked up company, ibill. I've never heard of any of those names listed. i came way after all the bullshit went down. basically segpay was and still is the new ibill. all the crooks from ibill formed their own company and its called segpay. i only worked there 5 months. it was a total joke. i was in sales trying to drum up business, but mostly took calls from pissed off webmasters wanting to know where their money is. i was making really good money for doing nothing so i stuck around for 5 months. very shady people that worked there. jeezus.
i found out exactly what went down. basically all the upper management and sales people kept "paying themselves forward" is how i was told. they would keep all your money up front to put in their own pockets first then they thought they could "pay the webmasters next month" but they kept doing it month after month. sure they had their cars and huge houses. one guy who came back told me he was in sales and made like $25,000 a month for a few months straight and he bought not only himself but his mom a house too! and thats just a sales guy. God only know how much upper management was putting in their pockets. So basically it all snowballed after a few years of paying themselves first and then its like "oops, we dont have any money left for our actual clients because we all put it in our pockets". Its nothing but total greed and robbery. I cant believe they got away with it actually. Its no different than robbing a bank. You webmasters probably already know this whole story though. |
Thanks. This is very interesting.

Ok, so they are still in biz. Why don't the ones that they owe money to join together and nail their asses?
I was one of the lucky ones that never had any dealings with them. |

Thats why it good to keep this on the first page, so at least a few newbees will see what a bunch of asshats Iballs is. It would be great if people who post on other boards make a link to this thread, that way we can cover more ground. Looks like more than a few of the old Iballs staff are still running this new incarnation of online theft :321GFY:321GFY |
