That's the reason why i hate these holidays in general. Same as Valentines day.

Becoming a father completely changed my relationship with my mother, as a teenager we were always fighting, but now I understand everything and I am so grateful for all her patience and what she did to me during my "interesting" childhood.

I don't do cards (that's a gringo tradition).
I spend time with her when I'm in town and do some cooking/baking with her, etc.

That's very nice Kristen. My mom did the same for me. She rocks, and I make sure to tell her eveyday. She raised my sister and I well. My sister is a pediatrician and I have several buisness I run. Hats off to moms that raised their children as a mother and a father this Sunday!

Being a single mom for the last 15 years I get calls from my friends on Father's Day every year and I call all my single moms on Father's Day.

Single Parenting = Thankless Job.
