Why arent more companies using the word FREE in their banners?
I noticed a LOT of difference when using banners that had the word free in it.
I also noticed that a LOT of sponsors don't have banners using that word on their banners, even when they offer some kind of "free" signup and "free trial". Why arent more sponsors using nice banners with this word in it? Im even making some banners myself with this word in it, and noticing a big difference. And believe me, im a noob with paint ![]() /thats all, just a headsup i want more sponsors using the word free if they have something for free to promote. |

i agree - our ads with "free" on them convert better than anything else by far (of course thats probably because its accompanied with "lifetime membership")

i think nowadays it's almost a waste of resources.. you attract way more freeloaders than you do serious buyers... but there's always 2 sides to every story

Sponsors don't use free as liberally because they want people to whip out their credit cards.
Webmasters say free to get as many people as possible to a sponsor. WG

If you are paying per click, "free" will get you lots of surfers who don't want to spend money, driving up your advertising costs.
