when lensman left the guys here alone to play... they came up with the best scheme. start threads as if you are the site owner... then tell everyone how the site is "bulletproof" and no one can do anything about it and you're gonna steal everyones content and post it and there is nothing one can do about it. it took a couple hours for his site to be down for good.... rip-productions.com was it?
his "nick" was RIP-PRODUCTIONS and many of the best replies about what happened were deleted, but i think you can still read the thread.

these guys have been going strong for a long time and have been talked about here for a long time too.... they go through stages where they are more discrete for a week or two here and there but overall they don't seem too worried about any need to change their business model

Don't know, but I know they've been threatened to be shut down many times.
I go on there once a week to report all the videos from the sponsors I push. I've had 1000s of files removed, (mainly topbucks videos) bet the uploaders bang their heads on keyboards because of me. They spend hours uploading gigabytes of videos, in 30 seconds I pull up the print view of megathreads, gather all the links using Jdownloader and send an email to rapidshare or hotfile. BAM.
