Yea, look around and only use the biggest and well known of them. Many of the smaller ones don't pay out.

Also, if you want to make any real amount of money on them, you need a LOT of content out there. Just a few movies won't cut it.

thanks for the info..and for the bump...we have about 30 different girls all different races..and we have about 100 scenes..we start shooting again next month...

could you suggest any big ones to work with..

And to echo what DWB said, the wholesalers that are willing to take you on as a new/small production company will be the ones to fuck you over. And if you sell directly to distributors many will hold back payments until you're out of business.

Not to mentioned backdoor the product and sell it to brokers or build sites behind your back.

I use www.XonDemand.com for VOD...

VOD companies not only give you some value on your content by creating some sales but they allow you to add pay per minute billing to your existing customer billing processes...

example most studios have some sites that they sell those DVD on... just add a link to the streaming flash pay per minute... so your customers can own the DVD and order from you or watch the stream for pennies a minute...both options are needed.. the more billing options you can give your customer the more you will make at the end of the day.

more VOD TIPS...
also make sure you send over your studio logo's so you can get featured by the VOD sites and have them create more free previews around your movies to help create more sales...
