    WD Media Player or one of these other ones..

    WD Media Player or this chinese one...

    I can't make up my mind which one to get... plz offer your 2 cents.. and advice which one should I get??

    WD Media player has

    pros:
    -trusted name
    -regular firmware updates/support

    cons
    -can't add internal hard drive
    -no ethernet capability
    -must buy external WD passport or similar mini HD to store movies on

    Georgia 3.5" HDD Player with Network support, HDMI, and even Wifi Support

      I wouldn't buy any ofem. I'd rather build my own system with whatever cpu, graphics card, HDD(s), audio card, etc that I want. All of those players seem very limited.

        Neither of the unknown brands will do 1080p

        WDTV not supporting internal drive, you dont have to buy a WD passbook or even an external drive just buy a usb 3.5 usb enclosure for whatever hdd you already have ide/sata.
