    Anyone Investing In Oil?

    Stupid question I'm sure, but fuck...drops every winter then skyrockets in the summer, is it an idiot proof investment for someone with about 10k to blow?

      It might be a good investment now since people use it as a hedge against the dollar. Dollar is weakening due to heavy debt. If hyperinflation ever breaks out, oil is a good place to be.

                      Funny you ask, I just bought some Jul 50 calls on BP this morning. It's down a bit on the day but there's over 6 weeks until expiration and I'm sure it'll be profitable long before then. Oil is looking really good! There's a couple of oil related etf's I have my eye on for tomorrow if the technicals all line up.

                          I have in the past and to me its not worth it unless you are going short term. and the returns may not be what you can get out of some others at this time.

                          There are a few banks that are going to rebound and if you have stock in them you will make a killing.
